Terms and conditions
Last updated 29 October 2026
These are the terms for using OriginForge Connect, the game at originforgeconnect.com. We've kept them in plain English. By making an account or paying for anything, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
OriginForge Connect is made by OriginForge Studio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17250692), registered office 16 Marston Drive, Irlam, Manchester M44 6DU. You can reach us at contact@originforgestudio.co.uk.
2. Your account
- You can look around as a guest. To save your progress, own a home or pay for anything, you need a free account.
- Give your real date of birth. It's kept private and decides what you can use: town chat, private messages, friends, casting spells on other players and duels are only for players aged 18 and over.
- If you're under 13, you need a parent or guardian's permission to make an account.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person, one account for chat and paid features. Accounts can't be sold or transferred.
3. The rules
OriginForge Connect is a friendly place for founders, makers and anyone curious. Everywhere in the game, including chat, messages, names, profiles, houses, TVs and adverts:
- Be kind. No bullying, harassment, hate, threats or targeting anyone.
- Keep it clean. Nothing sexual, violent, hateful or illegal.
- No spam or scams. No flooding, misleading adverts or fake giveaways. Never ask anyone for passwords, payment details or personal information.
- Be yourself. Don't pretend to be someone else, OriginForge, Paul or a villager.
- Play fair. No cheats, bots, scripts, or using bugs to get coins, items or XP. Found a bug? Tell us.
- Keep young players safe. Never try to contact a player under 18 privately.
- Protect privacy. Don't share your own or anyone else's address, phone number or other personal details.
To report something, email contact@originforgestudio.co.uk or message us on X (@oimatrixioYT).
4. What you put in the game
- Your name, profile, projects, house, TV content and adverts are yours. You give us permission to show them in the game, and in screenshots and videos we share about the game, for as long as they're in the game.
- You must have the right to share anything you put in, and it must follow the rules above.
- Links on TVs, screens and billboards go to other people's websites, always after the "Leaving Town" warning. We don't control those sites.
- We can hide or remove anything that breaks these terms.
5. Membership
- Membership costs £5 a month (plus any tax shown at checkout). What it includes is on the pricing page.
- It renews automatically every month on the date you joined, until you cancel. You can cancel any time; you keep membership until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- When membership ends, nothing you've made is deleted. Members' perks pause until you rejoin.
- If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
- Refunds and your right to cancel are in our refund and cancellation policy.
6. Adverts
- Arena screens are for members. Billboards are for anyone with a free account. Prices and lengths are on the pricing page. Each booking is a one-off payment for a fixed number of days and doesn't renew.
- Your advert must be honest and legal, and you must have the right to everything in it. It can't be sexual, violent, hateful, offensive, misleading, a scam, about gambling, weapons or drugs, or use the name OriginForge or words like "official" or "admin".
- Adverts are labelled with your player name and pass the game's word filter. Links must be https.
- We can refuse or remove an advert that breaks these rules. If we remove it for breaking them, there's no refund.
- An advert gives visibility in the game. We don't promise any number of views, visits, clicks or sales.
7. Coins and items
- Coins, items, hats, homes and XP are part of the game. They're earned by playing, can't be bought, sold or exchanged for real money, and have no value outside the game.
- A home bought with coins is yours to keep in the game; it's never rented or taken back while your account is in good standing.
- If a bug or cheating gives someone coins, items or XP they shouldn't have, we can correct it.
8. Suspending or closing accounts
- Breaking these terms can mean a warning, losing chat, or your account being suspended or closed. Serious cases (for example, threats or targeting a young player) can mean closing it straight away.
- If we close a paid account for a serious breach, there's no refund for the time left. If we close the game or your account for any other reason, we'll refund any membership or advert time you've paid for and not used.
- You can close your account any time by emailing us. See our privacy policy for what's deleted.
9. Changes to the game and these terms
- The game is new and keeps growing. We add, change and sometimes remove features, quests and items. We won't take away a major paid membership perk during a period you've already paid for.
- We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the game or by email before it applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
10. Our responsibility to you
- We work hard to keep the game running and your progress safe, but it's an online service: sometimes it'll be down for updates or problems outside our control.
- We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking reasonable care. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses (the game is for personal use).
- Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or our responsibility for death or injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
11. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you keep any consumer protections your local law gives you, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. If something goes wrong, please email us first: most things can be sorted out quickly.
